The Stanley Becker Environmental Resource Scholarship was previously established by the family of Stanley Becker in cooperation with the Monroe County Conservation District.  Mr. Stanley Becker and his wife Stella have long been local citizens who valued the natural resources of Monroe County.  This scholarship was created in memory of Stanley and in honor of his wife Stella, who offered their time and talent to honor the natural resources of our region.

The Stanley and Stella Becker Environmental Scholarship will be awarded to a Monroe County resident who is a high school graduating senior who plans to continue post-high school education in an environmental-related field and who demonstrates a passion for protecting or working with our natural resources.
