The Scotty Raymond Memorial Scholarship Fund was created by Scotty’s loving family after he passed away on April 12, 2023. The scholarship will be awarded to a Pocono Mountain East High School Senior Wrestler who plans to continue a post-high school education or training.

Scotty wrestled at 121lbs. for Pocono Mountain East High School and was a PA State Championship Qualifier his junior year.  Scotty’s love and talent for wrestling was a strong part of his world, but he excelled off the wrestling mat as well.  He was a fighter and full of energy from the day he blessed this beautiful world. He was truly loved and admired for his love of life and the joy that always accompanied him. He loved his family and truly embraced being a brother to 3 sisters.

Scotty adored his dog Ivy who could be found tracking him on his mountain bike or anywhere else outside.  He loved the great outdoors: snowboarding, mountain biking, 4-wheeling, boating, snowmobiling, farm life and dirt biking.  Scotty was an entrepreneur and started his own lawn business.  He could make anyone smile with his witty humor and slight sarcasm. The Scotty Raymond Memorial Scholarship was created so that his joy could be passed on to others.
