The Vern Moyer Aviation funds were created by family, friends, and colleagues of Vern Moyer, founder of Moyer Aviation, to support the field of aviation in northeastern Pennsylvania.  A group effort created a non-endowed fund in early 2024 to raise money through a Flightfest event in 2024 for scholarships.  Scholarship funds have now been established to support individuals from Monroe and its adjacent counties who demonstrate a passion and commitment to pursuing a career in aviation.
